I have a two-acre yard with lots of trees, and have used my lawn tractor in the past to blow them outward. The problem was that too many mulched leaves are left on the lawn, which isn't good for maintaining a healthy lawn. Thought I'd try a lawn sweeper this year. Based on other reviews, I bought this unit. The shipping packaging could be better, but thankfully all the parts arrived okay and I had it assembled in about an hour. After a few runs and adjustments, it picked up most leaves, small twigs, and pine needles. I even operated it on my gravel driveway, but drove slower to avoid sweeping up the gravel with the leaves. Also, a little driveway pre-raking and a little higher adjustment helped. Don't let the leaves pile up to deep before using this unit--it picks them up but fills up the 26 cu. ft. container fast. Start collecting leaves early in the fall. Sweep often and it works great. The unit seems well-built, but it needs a large place to store it. 

Caution: Don't forget to pick up the dumping rope before sweeping. I did on the second run of the first day and the rope got tightly wrapped around one wheel and sweeper brush before I noticed--took a bit of time to get it freed.
